Indian Client Makes Cross-Border Trip to Suzhou for Dongji Integrated House, Accelerating Cooperation on Over 100 Coastal Detachable Modular Houses

Oct 16, 2025

Recently, a client from India, attaching great importance to this livelihood project, made a long cross-border trip to Suzhou, China, and paid a special visit to Suzhou Dongji Integrated House, engaging in multiple rounds of in-depth discussions on the cooperation details of over 100 detachable modular houses. It is learned that these modular houses have a clear application scenario – they are planned to be specifically placed in coastal areas of India and provided free of charge to local residents for accommodation. In terms of functional configuration, each house is carefully designed with an independent bedroom and a kitchen, which not only fully ensures the practicality required for residents' daily lives, but also embodies humanistic care for the living needs of coastal people, and can be accurately adapted to the special living environment of coastal areas.

Prior to this factory visit, the two parties had completed the first round of in-depth communication on the core needs of the project, basic product specifications and preliminary cooperation plan through online communication and other means, laying a solid foundation for subsequent on-site discussions. On this day, the client once again visited the production plant and exhibition area of Suzhou Dongji Integrated House, and conducted further detailed discussions on the key links in the cooperation: On the one hand, the final confirmation of the internal spatial layout of the houses was made, and the kitchen size parameters were repeatedly checked to ensure that every design could conform to the daily living habits of residents and avoid affecting the living experience due to unreasonable space. On the other hand, considering that the houses will be in the coastal environment for a long time, the two parties also focused on exchanging views on potential issues in coastal placement, such as the impact of humid climate and sea breeze erosion on house materials and structures, and jointly discussed how to improve the adaptability of the houses through optimized design. At the same time, after multiple rounds of sincere communication, the two parties reached a preliminary consensus on the bulk purchase price of more than 100 houses. This key progress has cleared important obstacles for the subsequent advancement of the project and marked a substantial step forward in the implementation of the cooperation.

From the perspective of cooperation attitude, the Indian client has shown great attention since the launch of the project – not only taking the initiative to communicate details of needs many times, but also making a cross-border on-site visit to gain an in-depth understanding of Suzhou Dongji Integrated House's production capacity, product quality and technical craftsmanship. This pragmatic move fully demonstrates its sincerity and determination to promote the cooperation. In turn, Suzhou Dongji Integrated House has won the client's recognition with its professional product design capabilities, mature production system and meticulous service attitude. At present, the overall communication between the two parties is progressing smoothly. During this visit, the client clearly stated that after the price details are fully finalized in the follow-up, the advance payment process will be initiated immediately to fully promote the project from the negotiation stage to the production and implementation stage.

Regarding the work ahead, a relevant person in charge of Suzhou Dongji Integrated House said that based on the existing consensus, the company will further refine the production plan: On the one hand, in response to the characteristics of the coastal environment, it will join hands with the technical team to optimize the selection of house materials and structural design, focusing on improving the moisture-proof and anti-corrosion performance of the houses to ensure that the houses can maintain stable quality even after long-term use by the sea. On the other hand, it will plan the production cycle and logistics plan in advance to ensure that after the production of the houses is completed, they can be efficiently and safely transported to the coastal areas of India and delivered to local residents as soon as possible, helping to address the living needs of the coastal people.
